Poppy's Place Annex in Camelford North Cornwall

The annexe was clean and comfortable. An added bonus was off road parking.

This may seem a small thing but a non slip bathmat for use when showering would be good.

This was our fourth stay at Poppy's Place, every visit has been excellent we travel with a car and trailer Poppy always makes it possible for us to park, the accommodation has everything for our stay, will definitely stay again.

No dislikes.

Lovely and clean, access made very simple by friendly hosts

Nice people. This is a self-catering holiday but Poppy had provided essentials, hot drinks and milk in the fridge. There are various grocery stores and take away places in the town - enough for a holiday. The loft apartment is well designed and comfortable, with plenty of kitchenware, linens etc., and useful info on a welcome card plus brochures. Velux windows in the attic roof give a good view of Cornwall's dark skies. The house is on the A39 but in the country, very quiet and peaceful and equidistant from the coast and Bodmin Moor. I walked out there (slowly) from town and it took just an hour despite the hills. Easy for car drivers and for public transport, the bus stops aren't too far away - the timetable quite dependable. Using one bus each time, I visited St. Nectan's Glen, Tintagel, and Rock for the water taxi to Padstow.

Sorry! Would be good - a hook high on the back of the bedroom door for dressing gowns. About taxi transport if needed - book well in advance and be aware they are very few and seem to want only long distance trips.

Beautifully presented small, self-contained apartment. Everything you need for a stay. Clean, tidy, and comfortable.

Good location for the North Cornwall coast and an easy walk to the facilities of Camelford. Private parking for your car. Great chatting with Poppy, the owner, who couldn’t have been more helpful!

Was well equipped for all your needs and owners were extremely pleasant and on hand if you required them.

That there wasn’t a private outdoor seating area, so we felt you were intruding on owners and other holiday accommodation. This is NOT a criticism, just a personal preference.

Loved the cosiness and cuteness of the annex! Even though it was above/connected to the hosts house you felt completely separate and we're not at all disturbed by noise etc! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Absolutely fantastic 😊!!!
