Room Near City Centre Private Bath Free Parking

The property is not close to city centre , nothing positive to say about property , it was filthy , rats roamed around streets , kitchen was a health and safety hazard too dirty to use stay away at all costs

We arrived at this property and knew straight away we had made a big mistake, the area was very rough, 2 men were squaring up to each other, not what we expected! There were 6 large wheely rubbish bins at the door, they absolutely stank ! The smell went into the property, and it was only when we got to the third floor the smell wasn't as bad, if you had a room on the first two floors, the smell would of been horrendous! There were no television in the room, which is a big deal breaker to us as I have insomnia so often watch and listen to the tv through my earpods all night, there was also no tea/coffee facilities in our room, we have never stayed anywhere without a tv or at the least, tea and coffee facilities, this room was not cheap at £100! We use booking.com regularly, the one we stayed in before our flight last month in Manchester was far superior, and was a ridiculous £55! The bed was a cheap divan, the mattress was ridiculous! This is the first review I have written that has been negative? But there is honestly nothing good to say about this place, we actually walked straight back out again and decided to drive the 2 hours home, 0

There were rats right outsude the front i left immediately i didn't even stay and the customer servicefor the hotel did not help wat so ever

I did see an enormous rat in the street before I went in but he never reappeared and there were none inside the building. Looks a little unprepossessing from outside but inside is fine. Pleasant area, good transport to centre by bus or train. Door code new to me- you have to place palm over handle for keypad to appear.

I should have been informed about keypad; I travel a lot and have never encountered this before. Fortunately owner lives next door and was able to explain, albeit in a rather curmudgeonly fashion.

Im wesentlichen war es wie beschrieben. Die kostenfrei Parksituation in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung ist zufriedenstellend. Es gab ein kleines Problem beim öffnen der Wohnungstür. Hier hat der Vermieter sofort reagiert und das Problem unmittelbar aus der Ferne gelöst.

Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist in einem mäßigen Zustand so das man sie lieber nicht genutzt hat. Es wäre aber möglich gewesen. Die Müllentsorgung ist so katastrophal das sich bereits Ratten angesiedelt haben. Nachdem die ersten Ratten gesichtet wurden hat man das Haus nur noch mit Unbehagen betreten. Hier hat der Vermieter nicht mehr auf eine Nachricht reagiert.

More Cleaning Needed Def! As we arrived another couple who had a room booked also arrived - within 5 minutes they decided not to stay as they found it too dirty and smelly. They were English and said they stayed in a lot of places in England but this the worst! Stale smoke smell in hallway immediately as entered the building Dirty floors - especially in shared kitchen and also in entrance way and in ensuite and bedroom ( can send photos!) Freezer in shared kitchen needed defrosting and fridge needed cleaning Little sound proofing - as heard other guest talking on phone until very late - kept us awake Awoken early with guest upstairs moving around and packing up - no soft flooring like carpet Our room was by front door and door slammed as people left at 5 am and 6 am waking us Full length curtains looking shabby although fairly good blackout - they are needed as streetlight just outside No net curtains to provide privacy from street although windows at street level Large rat seen running around front steps in morning
