Vesturgata One Bedroom Apartment Near Harbour by Heimaleiga

Great spacious property, clean and had everything we needed for a weeks stay to prepare meals and relax. The washing machine and dryer was a huge plus to refresh our thermals and the bed was extremely comfortable.

This was a lovely little stay in Reykjavik. You could see the church from the doorstep! Short walk down a little hill and you were in the lovely bustling area. Harbour just over the road. The accommodation was warm and just perfect for us. Stunning spiral steps to the bedroom! Bed comfortable, no light issues so we slept perfect! Kitchen was perfect, we didn’t cook but all looked in working order. The shower did have a smell but we presumed this was the geothermal heating???

The sofa was quite uncomfortable to sit on. No cushions to help the box style sofa.

Despite its proximity to the city center, the area remained quiet and calm, ensuring restful nights and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay. The apartment itself was cosy. Spacious and tastefully decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, it offered everything one might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Equally impressive was the interaction with the host. Communication was smooth, timely, and welcoming. From clear pre-arrival instructions to helpful local recommendations, the host ensured that every aspect of the visit was easy and enriching. It was evident that great care was taken not only in managing the property but also in making guests feel at home. The host also provided an insightful guide to local attractions. In terms of value, Vesturgata 14 met expectations.
