Cute Studio near Yad Vashem by the light rail station FREE street parking

This is one of the best place to stay for those who would like to visit Yad Vashem, museum of Israel. Either one above takes at least one day if you would like to taste it in depth. Here is a perfect spot. For me, I visit Yad Vashem on Shabbat (Friday) and museum of Israel in next day (Saturday). There is a super market (close at 15:00 on Shabbat, very important!!) within 5 minutes walk. You could get all kinds of stuff and prepare meal for yourself even on Shabbat.

I drive a car so that everything is very convenient. You could also park your car on roadside w/o money. But for those who don't have their own transportation,probably, it's difficult to get here at/around Shabbat. It seems transportation is totally un-available on this day. Please take this into consideration.

The apartment is located in a quiet area of the Jerusalem suburbs near Mount Herzl, with light rail stops, cafes, and small stores within easy walking distance. There are great views of the Jerusalem Forest within a very short walk of the apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was very helpful and friendly. And the apartment was very tastefully and interestingly decorated.

The kitchen was compact but sufficient for me to make my usual delicious breakfast each morning. The location was very convenient. Either a short walk or bus ride to the light rail. Also walking distance to major sites such as Yad Vashem and Har Herzl.

There wasn't anything not to like about this apartment. I stayed for a month and the landlords washed my sheets and towels as needed. I could not have asked for a better place or better landlords.
