Monte Estoril Train Station - Seaside Apartment

What a fabulous place to stay. We were a family staying and found the apartment perfect. Although situated above the Monte Estoril station the apartment is nice and quiet. you can hear the trains but they are just a background noise. the plus of being this close to the station is the ease of transport. there are beautiful beaches just a 5 min walk away. overall a great place to be based to see Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra. Also Ines was a pleasure to deal with.

The most beautiful home overlooking the water! Fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. The home is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The owner was such a delight and super helpful. No need to worry about the noise of the trains- they are quiet and do not disturb you at all. The property is a 10/10 and we did not want to leave. Fabulous coffee shop below with pastries and ice cream. The whole stay was a 10/10!

This apartment is absolutely perfect. It’s sits on top of Monte Estoril train station and it’s a joy to watch the trains come and go (and they are not noisy). Add to that the fact that it overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and that is is beautifully decorated, cleverly designed and spotlessly clean. It’s a joy! Inês is a wonderful host who was very helpful and kind.

Our stay in the charming accommodation located in the historic Monte Estoril train station building was an experience to cherish. Its prime location promised - and delivered - unbeatable convenience with a direct train connection to Lisbon. Yet, it was more than just its practicality that won us over; the property exuded a unique charm, boasting awe-inspiring sea views along the stretch between Estoril and Cascais. We loved watching the tranquil sea greet the day, and later the sunset paint the evening sky with its vibrant, melancholic hues. The mesmerizing view was not limited to the distant horizon but extended to the immediate vicinity as we could easily explore the lovely sea-side towns of Estoril and Cascais by foot. The accommodation's location ensured that everything we needed - from local shops, chic restaurants, to quaint cafes - was just a leisurely stroll away. Additionally, I cherished the delightful small kiosk located just below the apartment, a perfect spot where I could relish my morning coffee while delighting in people-watching, observing the rhythm of local life. One might think that residing in a train station building would result in sleepless nights, disturbed by the sound of passing trains. Surprisingly, this was not the case. We found the apartment well-insulated from any potential noise nuisance, and the gentle, rhythmic rumble of the trains served as a soothing backdrop rather than a disturbance. The sound was barely noticeable during night, ensuring we enjoyed undisturbed slumber after our day's adventures. You might also appreciate the convenience of parking in the street right in front of the building. But it was the hospitality and flexibility extended by the wonderful host that made our stay truly memorable. She was friendly, very responsive, and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The information and wine provided was fantastic, making our experience all the more enjoyable :-)
