Beautiful grade 2 listed cotswold Stone Cottage

Lovely welcome hamper, cottage was great high spec finishes really tastefully done. Hosts emailed us to check everything was ok and if needed anything. Really great pub 2 mins walk through stunning village.

The house has been decorated to a spec., absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and warm. Lovely welcome pack left by the owner, artisan bread, local butter, eggs, and milk. Any questions the owner Paul responded straight away. The aga was straightforward to use. The bathrooms were beautiful, and the showers were powerful. They couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our 50th birthdays. There was even a bottle of alcohol in the fridge.

Old property but with modern facilities. Very clean, great use of space, we loved the fireplace and chairs in the entrance area and often lit the fire and sat by here while others watched the tv in the living room. The rear outside courtyard area is gorgeous and is ideal for children and dogs knowing it is all enclosed.

It was nothing against the property as such, but there is very little sound insulation between floors. This wasn’t an issue for us but could be if you had children who were light sleepers. Just take earplugs if it’s going to be a problem as it’s so worthwhile staying at the cottage.
