Spacious Family Home In The Heart Of Birmingham

The mattresses were comfortable. The towels were new.

Smelt like stale smoke, everywhere was gritty and dirty. Filthy sponges for washing up and dried food on cups and plates in the cupboard. Bunk bed so creaky and shaking we had to put the mattress on the floor. Bathroom was dirty and downstairs toilet had poo marks in it! Tv didn't work properly. Mouldy bread in the kitchen cupboard. 2 cars on the drive so no parking for us. Wasn't cleat if we could park over the drive so we had to park a short walk away and struggle with our luggage.

Convenient location. Had all the basics needed

Took a minute to find the house, maps led us to the garage which isn't actually connected to the house. 2 cars on the driveway. Neighbours were loud, downstairs bathroom very unclean, freezing cold and couldn't get the heating to come on, half the doors didn't close, furniture uncomfortable, TV didn't work, double bed slats kept popping out every time one of us moved in bed, windows let in all road noise from outside, bunk bed very wobbly. Left early

The location was ok for where we needed to be

We walked in to an overpowering smell. The bedding felt old and dirty. The 2 small towels were like something out of a bad 70's sitcom. There were random pairs of sliders in the bathroom and toilet that looked like an old man had just stepped out of them and left them there and I believe someone actually had! The bath had no plug and no holder for the shower, there were cracked tiles throughout the bathroom and there was black mould on the sides of the bath. There were no pans, hardly any cutlery or cooking utensils and the crockery looked like it came from a Disney seconds shop. When I tried to contact the host to inform them there was nothing to cook with, the response was "There should be something in one of the cupboards."...Genius! We went to Asda, bought scented candles, a frying pan, 4 towels and pillow cases. For breakfast we ended up having to heat beans in a cup in the microwave as there wasn't even a bowl to use. It was not what I was expecting, to say the very least.

Nothing was nice in there.

Location was good

Beds weren’t comfortable and squeak noises maybe neighbours walk-in about
