Beautifully presented with lovely outdoor space to sit in and listen to the birds. Hosts are very friendly.

The location

Unfortunately the bed was too soft and the quilt was feathered so a quilt and pillows that weren’t that would of been great as I’m Allergic to feathers Rather then a tv in the bedroom one in the living room would of been better Plus a more comfortable sofa as found it really uncomfortable The kitchen area could of done with a bit more space ie a breakfast bar instead of a table so if you were cooking the doors to the cupboards wouldn’t get in the way when using the kettle or toaster

The location is beautiful and the cottage is lovely too, very warm and attractive. The garden is pretty and very secure for our dog. We enjoyed walks straight from the door. Diss is a couple of miles away and there are many attractions nearby. We arrived during Storm Claudia and our host was very welcoming and kind.

The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped and a nice place to come back to after a long days work. Very nice welcome hamper and good information provided regarding places to visit and eat etc. Nice enclosed garden and some good walking areas for dog walks. Please note that the only TV is in the bedroom and also due to the design of the kitchen, cooking is a bit of a logistical problem! but the kitchen is well equipped. Good property for those with a disability as access was easy and the whole property as at ground level.

Access in and out through main gate was stressful in a large car as you had to leave the car jutting out into the road when opening and shutting the gate. Fortunately the road was not very busy! The place where you were asked to park (in the instructions provided) was never available as there was always two other cars (assumed to be the home owners cars) parked quite far apart not allowing our car to be parked. We therefore had to park in front of the home owners house which made manoeuvring of our large vehicle in and out difficult. We saw who we thought were the home owners a couple of times and they did not even say hello, so not very friendly / approachable!! Luckily we did not encounter any issues during our stay. We scored the 'hosts' as low due to the parking issue (they could have parked their cars closer together to let us in) and the apparent lack of approachability. However, we were very grateful for the welcome hamper.

Such a lovely stay! The property was beautifully clean, cosy and so comfortable. Every little detail had been thought of, and those extra touches made it feel really special. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and fantastic communicators. I’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
