CHALET A CERESOLE REALE nel Parco Gran Paradiso

I've adored the location: the Chalet is the last building before the forest, with multi-level (terrace like) garden, with big granite-like boulders in the "back-yard" and a covered terrace in front of the chalet that has a fantastic view on the Orco River Valley and mountains of the Gran Paradiso Park. The chalet is well equipped, very clean. The owner Bruna is very attentive and welcoming and Antonella, the person who's taking care of the chalet, is also very supportive and she is speaking English and French too. The sleeping room (with the matrimonial bed) is having a window that gives on the forest and lateral yard, and the view of the forest from the bed is enchanting! We've had the moon that came through during our stay (May 2026) and this was a pure gift! I can only recommend this place for any person who looks for genuine nature in the mountains. By the way, there is such a biodiversity we rarely see those days: flowers, trees, birds etc.etc Just fantastic!

The only reason I give less then 10 to this proprety are two architectural choices: a) the matrimonial bedroom is tiny, so tiny that there is no place for your luggage there b) the chalet is heated by air conditioning (excepting the bedrooms that are heated by electrical radiators). We use it the first day as it was cold (despite we came in May) and it made the air very dry (while the air conditioning was fixed by Antonella on 21°C, and on standard mode). The air become so dry that it made the nose and the eyes totally dry. While the air conditioning machine is very high quality (no noise, very smooth functioning) I suppose that if you go there in colder times, you would need to use it heavily and the dry problem would be worse. So, in our case we decided to wear the warm clothes and turn it off for the rest of our stay (total 3 days). But for summer days, I suppose there is no need to use it.
