Top House -Stylish property in village location

We appreciated the quick installation of a new shower when the existing one broker

The lounge and kitchen area was lovely, really nicely decorated with quirky wallpaper and a lot bigger than I had expected. Kitchen has great facilities and the shower room was nice with a powerful shower. The location is lovely, there's a Church just up the hill and it's a 5min drive from Wattisham Airfield which was where we went for a track day!

The bed in the first bedroom was not comfortable, and we got woken up around 8am on Saturday morning by a Calor gas truck which was filling up bottles right outside the bedroom window. Not the hosts fault at all of course, but safe to say we had a tired start to the day. Also, a 'Top House' sign on the front of the property would be good, as we drove past twice before finding it.

TV didn't always work, and some of the pots and pans were already dirty

Location was very good for the event we were attending. A charming village, with some lovely character properties.

The apartment was not as clean as we would have liked. Bread crumbs left on worktop, sinks, mirrors, windows and floors all needed a proper clean. The toilet had limescale, with a toilet roll that had yellowed. So not sure how long it had been there for. The cooker was awful as were the pans and the baking tray which had been left in the oven. We could not get the television to work as the fly lead would not insert to the wall socket. Although we had other heating, the fire did not work either. The information pack needed updating as we went to the Kings Head as we liked the look of the menu and found it was now a wine bar and were told they no longer serve food. Only have a cheeseboard or nibbles.

Perfect for our requirements, comfy beds, cosy, host communication and service was first class. Two really nice pubs and a large village shop. Spot on for a lazy weekend 😀
