Cosy Riverside Apartment - Woodsmill Quay FREE PARKING

The location of the property is great, super close to a lot of shops/ restuarants. On the banks of the river.

The cleanliness of the apartment was poor. There was mould in the bathroom, hairs on the bed, marks up the walls, stains on towels. We wrote a complaint to the host (never recieved a response) and then left and booked at a hotel.

Location really good - walking distance from town.

Noisy neighbours coming in late. its a ground floor apt next to entrance door for the apt block. Overall lovely stay.

Great location.Just a short walk over the bridge to the centre of York. Easy check in. Sainsbury local around the corner.

Apartment is cosy as described. Only there for two nights but travelling for a month, no room for our luggage. Shower required cleaning prior to use.

The location was perfect for us, just a short walk across the bridge to the city centre, easy access to shops, lots of bars, restaurants, pubs, museums, river cruises and other attractions. That's the reason we chose this property. Check in and out was very simple. Good instructions sent by email 2 days before our stay, easy to find and no need to contact anyone.

The "cosy" apartment is OK for a couple of nights, like our short break. There isn't room to walk around the bed in the bedroom but kitchen/lounge area is a better size. The property could do with some minor maintenance to bring it back up to scratch in my opinion, but nothing major. (Every tap in the bathroom drips and there is evidence of damp in the corners near the ceiling, kitchen drawers don't open smoothly, pedal bin mechanism doesn't work, TV doesn't receive freeview as stated, assume the licence has lapsed or something since only a handful of local, free to air channels are available). Oh, and we were left with only a small amount of loo roll. Bought some in town rather than bothering anyone, I'm sure they'd have put that right if we'd asked.

Very cosy; perfect for our birthday/romantic weekend away.

Parking would have been nice at the property but the car park was only a 5/10 minute walk away

It’s location by the river was perfect for seeing York by foot. The property had everything you could ask for. Lots of homely touches to make it cosy.

You could hear everyone coming and going as the communal hallway had a large echo and our bedroom was backing on to the hallway exit door.
