Daniel is a great host . And the facility is well maintained and just as seen in the pictures.

The price was excellent and the location was good too. The property is at an apartment building, not a hotel. Joseph, the apartment employee was great.

The address given in the website isn't specific enough. This was a problem when trying to tell tour operators where to pick me up. It's Gish Apartments 1. There's no elevator, so you're lugging your bags up three flights of stairs. All of the windows were all open and most had broken locks. This wasn't a security issue, since there were bars on all the windows, but I was concerned about bugs getting in after dark, especially mosquitoes, since Mombasa is a malaria zone. Joseph was able to get all but the bathroom window closed. Finally the toilet leaked water both before and after flushing. I'm sure that some sewage must have even escaping, since it was leaking before flushing, but there was a a floor drain right beside the toilet, so it drained away quickly and I sent a video to the owner, so I'm sure he'll get it looked after.

Daniel is a rare gem. accepted early check up, organized a friendly taxi to pick me up, taxi waited with me until the security opened the main gate. I really checked in. he's recommended services within including a supermarket within walkable distance. I had to leave the place very clean coz it was clean and neat with I arrived. I have already recommended him to few friends and I have requested him to handle my next trip. absolutely a real gentleman. keep it up and rewrite the story of excellent hosting.
