Ocean The Point Hotel Busan

For the price it was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful. And it was right on the beach and close to shops, restaurants and transport. I will definately stay again.

Not an option. Little tip when trying to locate it. It's inside a building with other hotels and might be referred to as the point.

The view was awesome. The beds were comfortable. Location was great. Also had a smoking area that allowed us to stand outside and look out at the beach. Lobby/breakfast had a beautiful view. Very spacious. Staff were lovely, very limited English but it was a good time to learn some Korean.

The shower and bathroom layout. We had the signature family room… it was layer out in an open room with bidet in one corner, bath tub and shower (with no shower curtain or partition to stop water splashing out onto floor) in the other corner with a sink between the 2, along the same wall) And a semi see-through bathroom door. We were 3 adult siblings (2 female, 1 male) so we couldn’t use the toilet and shower at the same time.

Breakfast was very good, we especially liked the Korean food options. The beds were really really comfortable, and we liked having a ceiling fan on top of the aircon. The hotel is just next to the beach. The staff was friendly and quick to help when there was a problem (our room key reader stopped working on our last evening, 10 minutes later an electrician came to fix the problem!)

The breakfast finished at 9.30, which was a bit too early for us, but it was ok. There was an electricity and water cut for yearly maintenance on our second day, from 11 to 15: even though we were nicely informed upon arrival, some kind of little compensation would have been nice.

Excellent location by Gwangalli beach within easy walk to the tube. Seeing the drone show was great and several nice places to eat nearby. Good shower

The room was decent sized and the bed was comfortable.

Check in is quite late at 4pm, as a result lots of people arrive all at once to check in and it's a very small reception. The apartment building has 3-4 different 'hotels' in it all sharing 2 lifts that take forever to come. The room had no complimentary coffee or tea, there is coffee in the lobby level but it wasn't very good. There is a sensor light in the corridor of the room that is insanely bright and couldn't figure out how to turn it off, which meant going to the toilet in the middle of the night would disturb your partner. If you are tall your feet in bed will set it off. It also just happened to have major roadworks outside at the time of our stay. The area was also full of seafood/fish tank businesses nearby.
