Passage LODGE by Jade Group

The view was beautiful.

The beds were super small, probably around 90 cm wide. One larger bed might have been more comfortable. Other than that, everything was great — especially the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.

Passage LODGE was extremely accommodating, sorted out a lift for us to and from the train station upon arrival and departure. The accommodation itself was extremely up to date and was able to store all our snow gear in a dry room after a big day on the slopes. Would definitely recommend.

Great heating, the view was incredible, nice furnishings, everything was brand new, the staff were very responsive and the free transport was amazing.

The apartment was very dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned. Lacking towel racks in the bathroom. Missing basic kitchen items like a spatula and salt and pepper. Also having to take out our own trash for the price was interesting even though it’s a pretty standard Japanese thing.

Modern and nice living area and clean spaces. Close to ekoland, happo and Hakuba station. The staff were nice and made an effort to fix our request and questions to make our stay more pleasant.

The kitchen don’t have enough equipment to cook for all quest at the same time which made our stay less enjoyable and more time was wasted on cooking. A bit far from the bus station that took us to the resorts we liked.

Walls are very thin. I couldn’t sleep because the next door room was talking (not loudly, just talking). And noise from upstairs apartment was very loud. Overall a cheap construction that shows in the details. Very disappointing.

Good communication and responsive host, complimentary shuttle from bus station to the facility for check-in was really helpful.

Host should consider adding the place in Google Maps. It's difficult every time when we call a taxi, we had to give its neighbor's location as reference.

Property is brand new with everything you need.
