great location. charming place. owner helpful and rooms clean and good size. incredible for the price.

Difficult to get there and to leave in the narrow street crowed with lot of tourists and cars.

Just felt very dated

The location is unbelievably good, being a minute's walk from both the Harbour and Porthmeor beach. The bed was comfortable and clean. Towels and tea/coffee facilities are provided.

I left a message for Ken when booking, as suggested on his site, asking if he would be around at 1 pm rather than 3. He didn't answer, and his phone was off on the day of arrival. If I had known he couldn't make it early, I would have preferred to sit on the beach, not the doorstep. The room was small and basic and next to a slamming front door.

Location is great. You walk out the door and you are in the mix of it all, fantastic . Bedlinen beautifully laundered and towels were supplied. Ken the host pleasant, saw him once when we arrived.

Tiny outdated and noisy, as we were behind the front door and someone was hoovering the room above at 5.30 in the morning. Bed was so uncomfortable. The bathroom door didn’t close and had no lock and I see now this was in a previous review! The toilet wouldn’t flush until we lifted the cistern thing and helped it. The sink was also in the room and not the bathroom. Room was slanted so the drawers stayed open which was amusing.
