Residence Inn by Marriott Coralville

The hotel needs a seriously deep cleaning. The drains in the sink and shower were so clogged up that water would not drain. Needs to be cleaned, updated and new furniture.

We’ve stayed at many Residence Inns as Marriott Rewards Members and this one just isn’t up to par. Dingy, banged up walls, dirty hallways, and the saddest breakfast I’ve seen—nothing compared to other Residence Inns we’ve stayed at. Plus, weirdly, the shortest toilet I’ve ever seen! Not even knee height! What’s up with that?

Staff members were very friendly. Clean normal rooms, no problems.

Overall we were grateful to have a place to sleep. We rolled in late and our check-in took 35 minutes. Maybe 45 minutes. Crazy. If we end up in coralville again, we will stay elsewhere other than the residence inn.

Great location to shopping. Carpet a little old

Residence Inn worked well for my short stay. There was a problem between the hotel and Expedia at check-in which took half an hour & 3 phone calls to resolve. Megan Beckett was patient and professional in working through the problem. First morning, there was no breakfast due to appliance problems we were told. It was repaired & breakfast was available and had good food during the rest of my stay. Room was clean and quiet. Recommended.

Very nice lady at check in. Room was pretty clean and affordable. The manager Lara was super sweet and spoke with us often and asked if we needed anything which was pleasant. We requested towels and other items to the room and she brought them to us quick. We will stay again if in town.

Hall ways needed new wall paper & carpet in main area needed cleaned or replaced. Room too dark. Our toilet was dirty in our room.

Heating was quiet, bed was comfortable, and room quiet.
