Staying in this house truly felt like living a dream for a few days. Waking up in the morning with the ocean right in front of you and seeing whales jumping on the horizon was unforgettable. The property has private access to the beach, with sunbeds available in the shade. The house is designed to be surrounded by nature, with two outdoor bathrooms and a beautiful sofa facing the sea. Dave was extremely kind and helpful, giving us plenty of tips on excursions and the best places to eat. Every morning the room is cleaned, and there’s no need to buy bottled water since a 25-liter dispenser is provided in the kitchen. At night, the Milky Way is clearly visible thanks to the absence of light pollution.

Not cons, just point of attention: The village is about a 15-minute walk away. You can either walk along the beach (at night you’ll see many little crabs coming out of their holes) or take the village road, which is only partially lit. Please note that there are no ATMs in the village and only a very small supermarket, so it’s recommended to withdraw cash or do grocery shopping outside Tofo.

J'ai passé 2 nuits dans l'hébergement de Dave, tout était absolument parfait. La vue est imprenable depuis la chambre, l'hébergement est très beau et spacieux, Dave est très réactif et on se trouve à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville en passant par la plage, c'est idéal !

We had an amazing stay with Dave and Melanie in Tofo. The property is absolutely stunning and in an amazing location right on the beach. Waking up to the sunrise every morning set the stage for a marvellous few days in Tofo (we wish we had even more time there!). Dave and Melanie were always available to help, answer any questions and by the time we left, we felt we were part of the family and the Tofo community. We loved our stay and have promised to come back!!
