Comfy renovated townhome - heart of Downtown Lancaster

Location and safe neighborhood

Pee stains on the carpet and mattresses. Smelled of cat pee, the urine smell would hit you immediately after walking in. The bathroom shower needs updated, cold water does not work, water knobs are loose, theres mold in the shower. No doors for the rooms or bathroom have locks. The walls need to be painted.

House was pretty inside. It had things we needed.

When we arrived the house was hot. No place to park. We couldn't get fans to work, the profile for tv to come up, and when I tried to call the number listed in the book provided I was answered by " you have the wrong number" twice.

The location was very good. Just around the corner from our family in Lancaster. Walking distance to a coffee shop and restaurants. Parking was ok but much harder at night. The beds were comfortable and the heating/AC had been recently updated. TV was easy to operate. Having a washer and dryer was especially nice.

It's listed as a "Luxury" unit but it really doesn't fit that description. There had been a fair amount of upgrades but it was showing some wear. Marks on the kickboards and the upstairs carpets need cleaning. The downstairs rugs curl up at the corners and could pose a tripping hazard. The front door knob is about to come off and the front porch needs attention. Not a good first impression. Clean dishes in the DW and clean laundry in the dryer could have been put away. But the worst issue was the garbage. The cans inside were empty but the large waste container out the back door was over full (lots of garbage on the ground ) and hadn't been emptied for quite a long time. I estimate well over a month. I knew when the scheduled pickup was and took four large bags out to the street.

Had no idea downtown lancaster was this cute! Tons of space in this home, cute yard, very clean, everything you needed down to coffee and even spices if you want to cook, connected to a great burger restaurant thru the yard.. swingset that belongs to the restaurant right outside that the kids loved. We'll decorated, trendy pretty place to stay. Stayed with 2 adults and 4 kids and had way more than enough space. Had a great time!

The townhouse is adorable, exactly like the pictures on the site. The location is great, within walking distance of great food, shopping, and parks. Very clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

Street parking is a little tricky.
