Luxury rooms Volat Old Town

We liked the location of the room which was just inside the old town wall, through the Sea Gate which was approximately 100m from where the airport bus terminates. The room was as shown in the photos and is to a high standard with everything in working order particularly the AC. The shower was hot and refreshing and came with basic toiletries. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with views overlooking the street which goes directly to the Forum and Riva. Our host Marko was very helpful and amenable. The room is located on the 3rd floor of the yellow building to the right of the town wall entrance when entering from close by the airport bus termini. An ATM is adjacent to the dark red outside door entrance to the building which helps in locating the room.

We were not prepared for having to pay cash for most meals and services. Consequently we had to make use of ATM's which are numerous in and around the Old Town.

The host is exceptionally helpful and very flexible when our arrival time changed! He organised sportsgear we forgot to take with us. The sea-view is spendid, thanks for the well equipped bathroom!

Loved everything about this apartment. It is on the top floor and without elevator. The accommodation was great and within walking distance ti everything.

Since it is downtown, there is no parking. There is a parking lot that is cheaper but it is about a 15 minute walk.

The location in a quiet block just off one of the main streets in the old town was excellent, a short walk from almost anywhere in the old town, so you are 5, maybe 10 minutes from most of the best restaurants, to the boat stop to Preko, the Sea Organ, the town square and the bridge over to the new town and there is a bakery, coffee shop and supermarket really close by. Marko was a very helpful and friendly host who picked us up from and dropped us off at the airport. We also hired him to take us to Krka National Park. He can rent you bikes and has lots of ideas for places to visit. Recommended!

We didn't mind the walk up the stairs and being on the top floor gave it roof top views from the balcony but I would suggest anyone with mobility issues might want to consider elsewhere. Also, the apartment could do with a kettle.
