"Overall an enjoyable stay."

9.0

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge furniture, downstairs bedroom ensuite.

Conservatory very hot, unable to use. Garden not very attractive. Family bedroom unable to access electric points for fan or charge phone owing to placement of beds. Fitted sheet kept sliding off corners of mattress possibly because it was too small. Considering we paid for accommodation rather too many instructions regarding leaving property. 10am too early departure considering we weren't able to access property till 4pm on day of arrival.

"Sheringham sojourn"

8.0

Clean and spacious modern house in quiet cul de sac 15 to 20 minutes walk to town. Very well equipped kitchen good for self-catering. Nice to have a garden to sit in too. Comfortable beds.

Slightly further out than I thought, but at least we got our steps in! Fans in only 2 of the 3 bedrooms for some reason. Curtains could do with replacing with something thicker, blackout blinds would be good.

"Nice pleasant stay"

8.0

It had a lot of space downstairs for the 5 of us, and the downstairs bedroom with en suite was really helpful for my relative with limited mobility. Good location.

Upstairs became very hot overnight.

"Spacious, comfortable house"

9.0

Lovely clean and spacious house. The bedrooms are really nice with comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. There were 5 adults so it was really good to have 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet. Well stocked kitchen with some good size mugs. Location is great, about a 20 minute walk into Sheringham. Nice cafes and other places to eat.

The bathrooms and kitchen are a little tired and the towels could have been softer. Only minor issues though. It's a great place to stay.

We arrived to a lovely warm house, after a miserable day, the house, was better than the website pictures, it was a lovely clean house, comfortable with everything there we could think you would need.

"Very comfortable and well positioned"

10.0

We rented the cottage for a family reunion/long weekend. We were very comfortable, had plenty of everything we needed and were even able to bring a dog. Sheringham town and steam railway is just a short (15mins) walk away. The array of eateries means you could stay a week and have something every day.

"A beautiful well equipped house"

10.0

It was very clean, spacious with parking at the side and an enclosed garden so the dogs could be free to roam. It had everything you needed and more. A very relaxable place, and just a short walk into Sheringham.

"Would definitely come back to this house if we stay in Sheringham again."

10.0

Lovely lovely lovely house. So much space. Great having a table in the kitchen for breakfast and then the big dining table in the lounge/dining room for the fish and chips takeaways! Plenty of crockery etc in the kitchen. Amazingly comfy beds (I was in the twin room with my youngest, eldest then had the double bed upstairs to himself which he loved!!). The boys loved the ‘lazy boy’ sofas! So clean too. I’m one of those people who takes cleaning stuff away on holiday just in case it’s a bit grubby, but it all stayed in the bag! Not needed at all. Great to have the shower option downstairs (as I couldn’t work the shower screen in the bathroom and didn’t want to soak the floor). Lovely little garden, not overlooked so I was happy out there for the morning cuppa in my PJs! Just enough space for the dog to be happy out there. Facilities were great, having the washing machine was ideal so could wash a few bits while we were there. Plenty of lovely clean towels. The host was lovely, very willing to be contacted (which wasn’t needed, just sent her a message when we left). Nice info folder left for us with a few tips on where to eat locally. We tried most of the suggestions! The whelks coppers tea room on the sea front comes very highly recommended for breakfast/brunch. All places very dog friendly too which was great.

If I had to say something, ideally having doormats at the front and back door would be ideal as it was raining when we arrived (good old British summer!) and we couldn’t help treading mud and grit into the hallway getting all the bags from the car. I cleaned it up with wipes but a mat would have helped. Hence the 4 stars here. Also the double beds gave me and my husband quite bad bruises as we kept knocking our legs on the corners of the bed frames! Very sore. Had to pad them out with towels so the kids didn’t hurt themselves rushing about. Ideally could have been slightly closer to the beach when carrying all the beach stuff, but wasn’t a huge issue as the boys are big enough now for a good walk and could carry their buckets etc. May be an issue if you have younger kids who give up walking! About 20 mins to the beach.
