S and S Chalets Mablethorpe

Very tidy host were there on a text when you needed them not far from the beach

Only problem was bed for me but im used to sleeping in my own

The tv had good reception, the lounge was comfy. The curtains blocked the light well

The double bed was small. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put anything or hang a towel. The space in general was quite tiny, not much room for luggage.

I could not believe i was told only the night before we were due to go that they cancelled our booking? They wanted me to cancel online but if I had of done that I would of lost my money back. I ended up having to message the owner because he would not answer his phone and said if I wasn't refunded I would still turn up on sight for my holiday.

It is a snug chalet but so comfortable and well decorated. Everything was really nice. Owners have some amazing equipment you could use but we ate out at night. The site was silent, no noisy revellers or ongoing parties nearby. Ideally set 25 minute walk into mablethorpe along a main road or walk along the beach through the sand dunes. Reasonable price cafes, restaurants and fast food.

We couldn't of stayed longer and experienced more of the local area.

Lovely location and extra touches provided. Nice to have the hoover and cleaning things too. Great value

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, a blind over the glass in the door (like the one at the kitchen) would be nice otherwise all was perfect.

Everything we needed, we are repeat bookers and this is our favourite chalet.

Lovely little challet which was well equipped with everything needed for a family break. The decking bit on the back was great for our dog. My daughter enjoyed the games provided. The bar on site is only short walk away and did good selection of food and drinks. The beach is beautiful and is a short walk away from the chalet too.

Everything was fine. Only suggestion would be that the hoover provided didn't work very well and wasn't picking up. The grass had just been cut on the site so would been good to hoover up bits that walked in.
