Little cottage up the hills

Kompleet en groot huis met perfect ingerichte keuken , propere nieuwe badkamer en comfortabele slaapkamer. Paul en Elena zijn zeer attent en vriendelijk.. De Griekse katjes waren voor mijn heel welkom.

De honden in de buurt, maar na een tijdje ben je er aan gewoon.

Heerlijk rustig huis op prachtige locatie , en goede uitvalsbasis om archeologische plekken te bezoeken.

De parkeerplaats was een beetje moeilijk, maar je kunt de auto ook langs de weg neerzetten.

Amazing find, a complete house in a wonderful location, tucked away in the Peloponnesian mountains, with spectacular views from its own terrace. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who speak/mail/WhatsApp in English. A gem of a house, full of character. Well insulated with underfloor heating and a fireplace - our stay was in December and we were very comfortable. I assume that the location in the mountains, the thick walls, the insulation and the big aircon units will also provide relative coolness in the midst of summer. If we return to this area, we will certainly try to book this house again.

Nothing to report, we had a wonderful time and hope to return someday.

I don't usually leave reviews of the places I visit but decided to make an exception because this place was really fantastic. It is a dream like cottage, situated on a very peaceful hill. At night, you could only hear the stars. Great place to relax but also not far away from the cities of Argos and Nafplio and the picturesque village of Karyes. Moreover, it really felt like coming home. Every piece of furniture, every book, every decoration seems to have a lot of thought and good taste behind it (Gen-Xers will really appreciate little pieces of lore like a Subbuteo game). It also has all the amenities you could possibly wish for (including a fully equipped kitchen) and the hosts were kind enough to even provide a lot of supplies. Speaking of which, Elena and Paul were very kind and friendly and catered after our every need (thank you so much guys, hope to see you again soon). HIGHLY recommended!
