One of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world

Just an amazing home and a master host

Nous avons été accueillis de façon exceptionnelle dans cette maison d’hôtes. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons ressenti une atmosphère chaleureuse et bienveillante. Les hôtes ainsi que le personnel sont d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriants, disponibles et très à l’écoute, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Nous y avons passé trois jours merveilleux, dans un cadre apaisant où tout est pensé pour que l’on se sente bien. C’est un endroit où l’on se sent presque comme chez soi, avec en plus ce petit quelque chose qui fait toute la différence. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans la moindre hésitation. Hervorragendes sehr persönlich zusammengestelltes Frühstück mit vielen selbstgemachten Marmeladen und anderen Details, die keinen Wunsch offenlassen. Tolle Lage in Laufweite zum Zentrum von La Marsa und nach Sidi Bou Said, trotzdem ruhige Lage in einer sehr schön hergerichteten alten Villa.

Gorgeous rooms in a lovely old historic mansion furnished and decorated beautifully in a traditional style with lots of delightful little sitting areas, but also with modern touches including great paintings from our gracious hostess Sonia. The pictures barely capture how winderful this place is in real life. Sonia, her husband and her son Tlieb designed and built some of the upper story rooms which, although more modern, fit in beautifully with the more traditional rooms. They have a good view of the surroundings including the next door minaret and the plunge pool. Breakfasts were varied and terrific with a nice selection, all served al fresco on the upper level. Service and attention to detail is first rate at all times and everyone on staff was terrific. Thank you to all for making our stay so very special! As General MacArthur said: "I shall return!!".

Lots of stairs but the staff handle your luggage. Having to go downstairs to order breakfast, then back up to the tables to eat. Not a problem, except for those of us of a more advanced age.

We had the most wonderful stay at Dar Ennassim. It is by far the best place we have stayed at in Tunis. A true gem where you can escape reality for a while. The moment you enter the palace and it is a palace, beauty surrounds you in every little detail and you would feel like you have went back in time. Every corner is spotless clean and a careful eye has chosen every single antique, and looking at the paintings that are hanged everywhere you would feel like you are wondering an art gallery. Our favorite part is the little rooftop swimming pool and the terrace that has an amazing sunset view of La Marsa. The hosting Family is very generous and nice and extremely helpful regarding tips on where to go and what to do in the surrounding area. The house and the family have rich heritage and without a doubt it will be our go to place in Tunis.

Nothing to dislike

J’ai passé un excellent séjour à Dar Ennassim. La maîtresse de maison, Sonia, est adorable et m’a donné de très bons conseils pour découvrir La Marsa et Sidi Bou Said. Toute la famille a été extrêmement gentille et aux petits soins avec moi, ce qui m’a vraiment fait me sentir comme chez moi. La maison est magnifique, très grande et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, il y a de nombreux espaces pour se détendre et j’ai beaucoup apprécié le coin piscine, le personnel est très poli, la chambre est spacieuse, très propre, avec une jolie vue sur la mosquée et sur la ville. Le petit-déjeuner était bon et varié. La literie était de qualité, j’ai dormi parfaitement chaque nuit. C’est sans aucun doute le meilleur hôtel que j’ai pu avoir à proximité de Tunis. Je recommande vivement Dar Ennassim et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

My friend and I had an amazing stay at Dar Ennassim, the hotel was rich with so much history and was wonderfully decorated. Our host, Taïeb was very kind and helpful with recommendations for local spots and various things to do. The hotel was well within walking distance to many things making it easy to explore and look around. This stay truly was one of the highlights on our trip to Tunis and I would recommend it to anyone coming to visit.
