Terrible check in procedure

The location and cleanliness was great..... for the rest utterly poor.

1. After having notified the management agent on numerous occasions that I was a late arrival..... there was no one to assist. Arrived at the time I had informed them. Eventually was able to get the keys to the apartment 90 min. later. The information I was provided to get the keys, was not correct... the picture I was sent is not where the keys were to be collected. . 2. The Air-conditioning did not work for the yotal 11 days I was there. Had to sweat it out every night. 3. The Dstv subs was not paid, hence had no TV. The next day the Dstv was resolved, but the TV speakers were damaged, had to keep volume on zero yo prevent krackling which irritated. The TV was eventually replaced 8 days into my stay of 11 days. But still having problems that requires an upgrade of the Dstv subs. 4. The tumble dryer in the unit was not functioning,.... plug and socket needed to be replaced. Hence, was not able to use the washing machine, as there was no means of drying. The tumble dryer was fixed 8 days into my stay. Very unusual, they do not provide tea. Was told that people complained. Which is ridiculous. 5. There was no cutlery and crockery list to confirm what is in the unit. Cutlery, and crockery were in odd numbers and very limited items. 6. The main couch had a sunken area. Very poor quality lounge, TV / breakfast area furniture. 7. Was not able to use the oven Tried z number of times... cannot confirm I did not notify the agent that I was unable to get it functional.

A/c could have worked better

Some of the reviews I’ve read are really unfair, the property was clean, gorgeous views, amazing location and I felt very safe. Yes the biometrics were a bit of a pain, and I couldn’t get them done on arrival, but honestly it was no real bother and it made me feel safe as I was staying alone for quite a bit of the trip

Biometrics not done on Sundays. Towels need a refresh.

The ocean and surrounding views from the 11th floor apartment are breathtaking. Two sliding doors and windows allowed for good airflow throughout the apartment (on days it was not too windy). Good quality appliances. Premises are clean and secure. Good proximity to restaurants, shops, beach, promenade and spas. Daily housekeeping services. Although construction is underway close to the building, the positioning of this apartment does not allow for construction noise disturbances.

Although the apartment was serviced daily and left clean, the bedroom carpet is definitely overdue for a deep clean. The airconditioner had malfunctioned despite an eventual technician visit, without resolve. Unfortunately, the lack of air-conditioning and the dirty carpet led to stuffiness and allergies, resulting in interrupted sleep. Best to take own pillows along. Location is probably not the best for light sleepers or those with infants as the night life below (night clubs) and the loud "show" cars would definitely hamper sleep at night, mostly on weekends.
