It seemed to look nice on the photos and write-up, but the reality was very different. There was not much to like here, we were conned.

Just about everything was horrible and dirty. The room was tiny and damp. Kitchen facilities were appalling, with no utensils or appropriate cooking equipment. The only positive was a new fridge. It would have been virtually impossible to self cater.The The place is a one room, unloved, poor quality dwelling. We did not put our clothes in the damp and smelly cupboard. We did not want to touch the floor in bare feet. The handheld shower was only ever lukewarm. The toothbrush holder and sink had not been cleaned, the storage on the wall had disintegrated, and the toilet roll holder was broken. There was no place to sit in the room as an extra single bed was in the room. No room for cases and no chair in the room. There was one socket and another 6 foot up the wall. WiFi was patchy at best, phone signal a problem. The cafe adjoining the room was closing the next day, so we had no breakfast and lunch options. We appealed to the host regarding our concerns for over an hour. He would not refund us any money even when we told him we were leaving. We stayed 16 hours all together, which cost us 970 euros. I was shouted and screamed at by the awful man the following day when we asked him to respond to Booking.com. Quite simply one of the worst mistakes we have ever made. We were fooled by devious marketing and lost out big time. It is a simply horrible place with an aggressive, unsympathetic host. Avoid at all costs!
