Elegant 3 Bedroom Apartment

This property was lovely and warm, which was especially appreciated in the middle of December. It was tidy, clean, and well-maintained. The bathroom was perfectly fine, and the TV was a great addition for relaxing. Both of my children enjoyed having their own room, and all the beds were very comfortable. Overall, it was a cozy and enjoyable stay that made for a wonderful family experience. Highly recommended!

Could’ve been more towels

Quiet residential area. Near the train station. 10 minute walk to Sainsbury’s. Large rooms. Nicely decorated. Reasonably comfortable beds. Good sized bins for use. Good TV with streaming facilities. Decent kitchen and good amount of crockery and cutlery. Lovely to have kitchen roll, hand soap, washing up liquid and cleaning materials. Bath room had plenty of toilet roll, shampoo, hand and body wash. Good fridge/freezer space and ice cubes. Good to have the use of 2 keys.

Big rooms so a little cold, but we had spare quilts as there were only 3 of us. Could do with blankets. The central heating disconnected early on the first evening, but we managed to get it going the next day. Plenty of hot water. The bathroom was cold and could be cleaner, but had useful areas for toiletries. Could do with door hooks in the bedrooms for coats. The skylight in the back bedroom could do with a blind as the security light outside came through and was permanently on. It rained heavily the first night all night so it was very noisy against the skylight as I’m a light sleeper.

The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean. when the fuse blew on the sockets they did come out within half an hour to reset for us and then left the cupboard unlocked in case it happened again.

Parking was very difficult as the street is busy. cars parked on pavements Rubbish in back yard and couldn't find designated bins. the tv aerial is inside and very temperamental so quality of picture poor. there were three adults and a child and cutlery was very limited - only had two forks. the upstairs residents were very noisy and it became apparent that they were moving out the next day so must have been packing and moving furniture. the cupboards are very high in the kitchen and a small stool is provided to stand on but I am a bit unsteady and couldn't manage this.

I liked the size of the property

I didn't like the fact that the property was not cleaned well. 1. the floor in the entire house hadn't been hoovered. 2. the floor hadn't been mopped, there were food stuck to the floor in the kitchen dining area. 3. The bathmat was wet and bathroom floor hadn't been hoovered and mopped it was dirty. 4. the bedding were creased and smelled like someone had slept in it before my stay. 5. the ceiling is very thin, you can hear the people in the property upstairs walking the ENTIRE time. 6. the kitchen oven was dirty, greasy and still had food crumbs all over and the tray was used and not cleaned. I could not cook the food I had brought with me for dinner that evening. 7. I felt so uncomfortable to use anything or sleep in this property I asked the host if I can leave and get a full refund 3 hours after I arrived so I can look for another property on booking.com immediately. they refused to give my money back even though I sent pictures and videos. I later left the property and didn't complete my entire stay. 8. I was with my toddler and partner and I felt very stressed and upset and frustrated with this whole experience it ruined my entire weekend. 9. The property looks nice in the photos but I was truly disappointed. 10. the only thing that was cleaned before I arrived was the kitchen and bathroom sink!
