Mailatunet - Vestlia resort

Great location only a few minutes walk from the Vestlia lift and the ski bus to the town. Supermarket is about 10 mins walk. Really liked the living area in particular, very stylish and well equipped. Bedrooms on the small side but very comfortable and lovely warm bedding.

Mostly my issue was with the instructions - I had lots of questions which were mostly responded to promptly but it would have been better to have the information provided without having to ask. As an example, it wasn’t at all obvious how to operate the heating ONLY in the living space - floors were warm on our arrival and cold the rest of the week, and no sign of a control for the fire. We even had to ask what number the apartment was though it is actually in small print buried in the PDF. The other thing, as mentioned by other reviewers, is that there are a lot of the owners belongings in the property and it does feel very much like you’re living in their house. Normally I’d expect these things to be more locked away.

Wifi var noe treigt, dårlig dekning. Var mye private ting i leiligheten. Lite oppbevaringsplass til egne ting/mat. Ellers super plass:)

Ved innsjekking fikk ikke oppgitt nr på leiligheten via mail, måtte ringe. Fikk ikke hjelp,måtte prøve 4 siffer koden som var oppgitt i mailen på mange leiligheter. Ringte for 3 gang,da fikk vi hjelp av en hyggelig dame som oppga oss en ny kode og sa hvor leiligheten var.

Lovely view, beautiful livingroom

Dirty dishes, owner's belongings randomly in place and no space for our things. Poorly stocked kitchen. You must put bedlinen on by yourself. Huge cleaning fee, and that for a place we did not find to be very clean to begin with. Poor lighting and equipment in main bedroom - only one bedside table and the room is very small. Inerior in bedrooms are ugly. Extra trouble with payment.
