Génial, accueil au top. Très bien équipé avec tout à disposition. Dienna est très sympa, elle nous a bien renseigné sur les activités à faire à Bacalar.

Manque un peu de lumière dans les tentes

Le calme absolu, la piscine hyper agréable, le jardin tropical avec avocats à volonté, la propriétaire des lieux très sympa, la cuisine super équipée, la clim dans la chambre familiale et le concept de tentes tres chouette

A noter que le centre de Bacalar se trouve à 20min à pied ou 40 pesos en taxi mais ça se fait très bien !

La cama era muy cómoda, y las zonas comúnes tanto piscina, cocina y baños estaban limpios y grandes. Álvaro, que es el chico que lo cuida y su perrita Chelsea eran majísimos, nos enamoramos de la perrilla🤭. Volveremos sin duda.

Le cadre est très sympa. Le jardin avec la piscine est idéal pour se reposer et se rafraîchir. La cuisine est très bien équipée et propre.

Malheureusement les nuits sont chaudes sous les tentes, et la climatisation est bruyante, il faut donc faire un choix entre avoir chaud ou devenir sourd… j’espère qu’un moyen sera mis en place, parce que cet hôtel est très sympathique.

Petit havre de paix

We had a lovely stay at Shamalay. The TP’s themselves are in great condition, feel secure and really clean. The pool is kept pristine and is a lovely feature, especially when lit up in the evening around all of the nature. The shared facilities are again very clean and accessible - nice bathrooms with supplied products. You can hire bikes for the day and otherwise the walk is approx 10/15 mins into the centre of town - completely worth it to feel in this oasis. Definately recommend!

We stayed in a tent. It was so nice and clean. Also the bathrooms and toilets were very clean. Our tent had a perfect temperature to sleep thanks to the AC. The stay was wonderful!!

Only negative point: every time we walked outside our tent (to brush teeth or go to the toilet or go to the center), we were “attacked “ by mosquitoes… it made the stay a liiitle bit less comfortable, but maybe that’s not something the host can do about it.

Nice little quiet spot, really liked the atmosphere and the garden is amazing. The owner knows exactly how to have a great glamping experience. Everything is also really clean and well maintained.

It is a bit further from town, but still quite doable with 22 minutes walk. Also you can rent some bikes at Shamalay.
