Good location - near good cafés, restaurants and pubs and not far from the city centre. The sheets were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was lovely.

It was not clean. There was actually a heavy pile of dust under the bed and bedside tables as well as in the bathroom. Facilities are old and getting decrepit - mould in some areas. The towels are the travel synthetic type which doesn't dry your properly. Much too expensive for what it is - Edinburgh is expensive generally and I didn't try other accommodations, so I have no point of reference, but would probably go anywhere else than this place.
