Country Cottage - Broussard

So spacious and bright, It was a beautiful home! Loved how the animals from around the neighborhood came to visit. Great place.

I didn't really have any complaints, I would have loved to have a long mirror maybe in bedroom, but I was definitely ok without.

I was searching for a place to stay for my birthday weekend with a few of my girlfriends. I’m really glad I chose Country Cottage. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving but these photos weren’t. This is a beautiful place to stay. I loved everything about it. If you like quiet country life but still close to Lafayette then this is the place to stay. The hostess made the stay even better. Any questions I had before the stay and during the stay was always helpful. It’s crawfish season and the hostess recommended Jane’s seafood in New Iberia which I didn’t get a chance to try but my friends and I did get to try some in Lafayette at Louisiana Crawfish time and they were delicious. The kid in us also went to David Buster’s and had a great time. We called it the adult chuck E cheese 😂. There were a few other places we wanted to go for that weekend but the rain 🌧️ set in pretty heavy. But this will give a reason to come back to Country Cottage.

Great location, clean, and comfortable. Great value. All of the amenities there, although we did not use the coffee machine - don't like Keureg coffee so brought our own machine. Decorations made it very comfortable and homey (the fake pears on the kitchen table may be a bit too realistic, as somebody apparently tried to take a bite out them)

The water heating system takes a very long time to produce hot water, particularly in the master bath (several minutes)

We liked everything about this home! Easy access, quite nice neighborhood and lovely surroundings.

The house is beautiful and welcoming. Extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. I would book here in a heart beat if we ever come back to the area.
