Gems Suites-A Boutique Stay

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They went the extra mile to support us when we were having some taxi troubles. They upgraded us free of charge, they stored our luggage for us, answered our questions, and were just generally lovely. The room was stunning - spacious, comfortable, clean, and the A/C worked marvellously. It was a perfect respite from the heat throughout the day. The location was great for either walking to a few restaurants or getting a Tuk Tuk elsewhere. We’d stay again!

The WiFi was a little slow for work calls so I did have to stand in the hallway directly below the router a couple of times. Also there were some very loud bangs in the night which woke us up, I believe from others in the hallways. Nothing too crazy, but worth noting if you’re a light sleeper. Finally the lemon soda that was served to us smelled really strongly of sulphur, so I don’t know whether these are made fresh.

The stay was very nice, calm and peaceful, the staff is very polite and helpfull as well as cooperative. Stayed for 3 days fully satisfied for every penny paid.

This is the best hotel in India we found after 4 months of travelling, and hundreds of hotels.. ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL! It's truly up to European standards of cleanliness, comfort, calm, and quality service. Choose this hotel with confidence, bring your family, and you won't regret it. BRAVO GEMS SUITES! An huge extra bonus: it's in family friendly clean upscale Bank Park in one of the cleanest streets in India!!! Food

Down a quiet backstreet of Bani Park, always easy to get a tuk tuk from close by. Large room with hot water and good facilities (kettle etc.). Staff very friendly and helpful

Sheets weren’t the cleanest (however seems typical of India), we were comfortable in our sleeping liners. Not a lot of restaurant/ food options nearby, but recommended the Rajasthane kitchen which was next door and great

The staff was amazing. Check-in was easy, room service was always faster than expected, and the breakfast is good, with enough options. If the driver is in fact staff (rather than just using their space), I like his knowledge of places to visit. There were a couple that I wouldn't have seen if not for him.

It is a little hard to find, BUT that's a me-issue; I tend to look for out-of-the-way hidden gems (no pun intended). The driver, who I'm not sure is or isn't actual hotel staff, HIGHLY RECOMMENDS fabric or jewelry or carpet etc. "demonstrations" where of course you "don't have to buy anything but ..." you see where this leads. If it were possible to promote those as educational rather than sales, it would be nice. But I don't think that's how it works.
