Beautiful! Peaceful, hospitable, clean, comfortable. Amazing hosts. Very much recommended. Amazing landscape, horses. The green landscapes were captivating. The atmosphere of a true Swedish village. It's a remote place so better have some tea/coffee and food with you. We had a nice kitchen in the house. If it's possible take your own bed linen and towels with you or rent them on the spot. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Room was spacious, full of light. Shower, kitchen, fridge - everything you need. Food & drinks: Come with your own food.

Beautiful countryside settings, cosy and welcoming authentic Swedish cottage. Mrs Ingbritt was a great host: you could tell she’s very proud of her family history, farming traditions and of the beauty of the Vänern Lake district. The accommodation was flawless, beautifully decorated and with views on a little gully and pond. We slept very well and comfortably.

A warm welcome and a very nice house. The location is beautiful and the host is very lovely.

The location is good with a nice view and the cabin ("Storstugan") was spacious. However, it was unfortunately not very good taken care of.

The cabin was maybe good enough some 10-20 years ago, but now it was not very clean and the light switch in the kids' room fell to pieces when first used (risk of electric shock!). The promised spacious double bed turned out to be a broken bed sofa with wooden splinters and metal screws on the mattress. In addition, it was only 185 short with sharp edges at all sides. It made it hard to fall asleep and impossible to sleep well so we both woke up totally exhausted. When we confronted the hostess, she said "Oh I did not know, one can't see everything". It was also crammed up with old excess furniture, maybe being used as extra storage?
