Blue Horizon View

The view from the location is gorgeous. Cleanliness is excellent. We greatly appreciated the welcome of the hostesses and they catered for our needs. The guest house has all amenities a family needs. Messages sent to owner were answered promptly and there is a real sense of caring for the guests.

The indoor decor is quite colourful for us who are used to a more minimalist style and limited tones. Being Mauritians, we were quite surprised by the total amount of one breakfast and two dinner meals and perhaps a proposed menu card can be made available at start. This can help guests to plan an adequate budget. But it has to be pointed out that the hostesses did their best to find stuffs to prepare for us. Hats off for them.

I loved this property. The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all.
