Cottage Close To Beach-With Parking-Garden-Peaceful Setting

I quite liked the rooms, the kitchen, the balcony and value for money.

No toiletries, or at least we couldn't find them. Everything was a 30 minute walk away, and the upstairs rooms or bathroom did not have a lock on them.

The beds were really comfortable. Outside space. Quiet. Clean. Plenty of bedroom storage.

Parking was tight. I have a land rover and next door has a mini bus. I was woken early one by someone wanting to get passed as there were also 2 cars parked opposite. The shower upstairs had a warning that the base could overflow. This meant that I could not allow my disabled son to use it.

Location very convenient and quiet. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the modern amenities. The bed was comfortable and everything was arranged beautifully.

Everything was fine but the ceilings down stairs are quite low if you are tall (I am 1.98m)

Our stay at The Surf Cottage was nothing short of perfect. The property itself was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and so well thought out – it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The little touches throughout the cottage made it feel really special and welcoming. A huge thank you to our host, Maria, who truly went above and beyond. When my friend contacted her about my birthday, she arranged a wonderful surprise – balloons, birthday banners, chocolates, and even a bottle of fizz waiting for us on arrival. It made the whole experience unforgettable and so personal. The location was ideal – peaceful and quiet, just a few miles outside of Newquay town, giving us the best of both worlds. We couldn’t have asked for more and would absolutely love to return!

Super cosy and beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Loved the projector! Good location. Only a 5 minute drive into Newquay Town. Felt right at home.
