Ivan and his staff were absolutely great hosts, from a friendly welcome in the middle of the night at 2:30 AM to arranging day trips and giving useful tips. A 100 % great experience with utmost and professional friendliness. Rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast and leisure area directly on the beach are fabulous. Spending time in the nicely designed day beds under palm trees is priceless. Food was outstanding and value for money just perfect. Thanks Ivan and staff for a great stay!

Have been before and wanted to come back to have a few relaxing days by the sea. It's a lovely place to relax, no stress, nice clean rooms, super friendly staff, lots of places to sit or lay down by the beach, great drinks and food.. It's more like being in someone's house than a hotel. Bonus - there are dogs. The owner, Ivan, even helped me sort out my flight issues and arranged an extra night when my flight was cancelled.

Amazing, friendly vibe. It’s a small place so you get to know the other guests, staff and of course Ivan (and his many dogs!) very well. We loved this - Ivan could even maybe suggest group tours so guests can mingle more if they’d like. I am a vegan and Ivan went out of his way to help cater for me - he bought special ingredients for my meals which I was very grateful for! There were also kayaks and it was very easy to book tours through Ivan, such as to Sine Saloum Delta

It would have been nice to have a cheaper option for lunch, a bit more low key, and hopefully soon Ivan will put a vegetarian option on the menu itself’ (but the food was great Ivan we loved it)

Very comfortable rooms. Ivan was very supportive with recommending different activities around. Very pleasant stay and nice beach.

Amazing place to stay for a while right on the beach. Our room was big and comfortable with a strong water flow even with warm water, so it's a superior accommodation in Africa. It's possible to swim in the ocean here (the beach around is dirty, of course, it is Senegal, but right in front of the stay they try to keep it clean). The staff is really really nice and the owner can arrange some interesting trips for you. And the food? So delicious fish, you have to taste it! :) Overall I can recommend this stay for all who want to get to know Africa through trips but still have the comfort available.

Ivan and his staff ensure you have all your needs met. The beach front is fabulous, a lovely homely feel and the food is five star. I would recommend anyone to visit here. Loved it so much we extended our stay.

We stayed in a comfortable and cozy hut. The beach and the palm trees were breath taking. The owner spoke many languages and was very caring. The breakfast was excellent with freshly baked eggs or pancakes and tasty juice and fruit. And the most important with real tasty coffee!!!

There was a lot of plastic in the surroundings which we didn't like. Sometimes we had to wait quite long before the food arrived, but as we were sitting with a beautiful view this was just a minor point.
