"Fantastic, friendly and the views from bed were stunning!"

10.0

The fact there are only eight glamping yurts in a very large field with a large well built table with a fire pit and grill for BBQs and basic kitchen equipment meant u had my grown up children for a meal felt very special. Staff were super friendly and helpful asking if I needed anything restocking. There were stunning views across hills well into the distance. In a sunny day as well as when it rained I lay in bed with a mocha looking at nature. Griggs farm stores have a lovely restaurant for lunch and the Polgooth Inn with St Austell Brewery Ales and cider and good food five minutes away for both. It’s central for Newquay,St Austell and Truro with places like Wadebridge and Padstow not much further away. As a solo traveller I enjoyed relaxing reading books and came home feeling refreshed. Also you have a poshish retail park with TK Max for any bits you may have forgotten. M and S Tesco and Asda all close. Several fast chargers for electric vehicles close by 12 mikes about 3 one with six charging points about 6 mikes away. There are several places like parks not too far away. Not suitable for hen or stag dos at all due to it being such a quiet location. Star gazing is amazing due to no light pollution. I-normally stay with family but from now on I will be staying in the yurts! Hot power showers in individual pods and composting toilets the were clean and smelt of nothing. Not great phone signal for O2 but that is the whole of Cornwall. You have Hewes Water Inn two minutes drive down the road with a great drinking pub. The list goes on small single beds I had one with bring your own bedding. I brought a spare single duvet as a mattress topper and double Buber and a couple of pillows and was very comfortable. I loved my stay and a going to boom to go again in a couple of months! Thank you it’s was fabulous. Oh and central so so many beaches to choose from.

Phone signal is not great but I loved it some might not! I got phone signal but not enough I stream some nights but EE and other networks are better. I had downloaded a few films on my iPad before a travelled down so that solved that!

Quite cold however we were unprepared 😂 so nothing bad!

"Awesome concept, fantastic execution, great value glamping."

10.0

Fabulous concept, brilliant execution. The tents are very comfortable, carpeted and lit and everything you need is provided from pots and pans to tea and coffee. The showers are hot and work really well - if you're tall enough you also get a great view! Thanks so much, I fully expect to return!!!

Leaving a few points because all other reviews seem to have been actioned which is great to see - hand sanitiser is now available and there are more sinks. These really are very minor and don't particularly detract from what is a very good value stay. - Provide some sort of washing line for drying towels. - Provide each tent with its own firepit and a couple of folding chairs. Whilst you can share with the other tent, this is only really practicable if you're of a similar demographic. - Cut the grass around the tents slightly more so that you can get to the toilets in the night without walking through long, wet grass.
