We like the serenity, quiet, beautiful natural environment. We loved the ecological aspect of the cabin. The pictures in the internet were accurate which was very nice.

The whole cabin could have been a bit cleaner.

View, secluded location, bbq grill, no “extra fees” & hosts.

No microwave, old couch, unleashed dogs while jogging, far from stores, loud coqui frogs (at night), no AC (not really needed in December but probably would in August). Regardless of my dislikes, the place is very manageable.

The owner thought of everything a traveler might need, Hawaiian coffee, cups, water, and sweetener. It was very quiet and I slept really well.

The couch could have been more comfortable, but the bed was good.

The cottage is a lovely "tiny house." It is off-grid, compact, well designed, and had everything I needed. I loved the screened in porch with a view of the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful - I slept great there. It is off the beaten track but easy to find - a little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Yet is is not far from Kealakekua, Captain Cook town, Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, and Ho`okena Beach. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Arthur, the host. I plan to stay there the next time I visit my family nearby.

The accommodation is amazing, clean and has a magnificent view. The host also provides various items that a traveler might need. Furthermore, we forgot a prescription glasses there and the host was very kind to ship the glasses to Japan to avoid a bigger problem in the rest of our trip.

The booking was in a very peaceful and private spot. We were in a good location in reference to the Volcano National Park and Kona. We really enjoyed the view of the sunset over the ocean as well as the amenities provided.
