Birgu 2BR comfort Apartment by Holi

L'appartamento è comodissimo per 4, con due camere e due bagni. Posizionato in una stradina tranquilla, ma vicino alla piazza dove ci sono ristorantini e negozietti.

Great location, a few steps from the waterfront of Birgu where great restaurants are located and from where you can reach Valletta in 10 minutes via either public transport catamaran ferry or pricate wooden gondolas (same price). The Birgu itself is the perfect place to wander in the cosy narrow streets there and to visit the number of museums all located in the radius of 5-10 minutes walk. The apartment is equipped with two bathrooms, two separate bedrooms, with moderately equipped kitchen, good wifi, which was perfect for our 4 people family. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with AC/heating units. Very hospitable hosts and agency. One afternoon, we somehow forgot the key inside the spartment (the door is self-shutting), and the host helped to open it. Other guests mentioned tiny shower cabins, but it was not a problem for us, as we all are quite thin. However, if you have a slight overweight or a thick butt, you should probably consider other options. Anybody weighing above 90 kg, but at the same time being shorter than 175cm, should note the remarks of other guests on this.

Smell in the apartment. There is no any natural or forced ventilation in the apartment, neither in the bathrooms nor in the kitchen. Only one bedroom has a tiny vent in the outside wall, but it is not a forced ventilation. It means that you need to keep most of the windows, especially the ones in the bathrooms open to ensure proper air circulation. Probably because of these conditions, one bedroom had a rather strong smell of mold, especially in the clothes wardrobe, where some mold was also visible in the corner on the wall. Bells of the churches around: not a problem for us, as it provives authentic charm, but if you are sensitive to the noises, then take note that they may start playing the bells even at 4 o'clock at night, not to speak about 6 or 7, which appears to be a regular routine.

Sehr schön gelegen in Vittoriosa. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Kurzer Weg zur Fähre nach Valletta.

Das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn war zum Kochen nicht geeignet.

Property was in an excellent location and exactly as described. Straightforward check in instructions, available 24/7. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly and supportive host company. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Wonderful location in the center of Birgu, very close to the main square with cafes and to the bus station. Apartment is spacious, equipped with everything what can be needed, even small balcony. Contact with owner was easy and all information easily available.

Church bells were pretty loud as there are many churches nearby, however it could be the case of around Easter time. It’s not a fault of the apartment, just my observation that can be useful for people having problems with sleep. For me it was manageable.

Bardzo fajny i przestronny apartament. Do centrum 2 min na nogach, piękne uliczki do spacerowania wokół.

Birgu jest przepiękne i w marcu bardzo spokojne, a lokalizacja mieszkania wyjątkowa - w centrum pieknych uliczek, blisko do przystani, placu z kawiarenkami, małymi sklepikami spożywczymi, restauracją, blisko jest też do tarasu widokowego. Łódką z Birgu można szybko przepłynąć do Valetty, a do Isli można przejść się spacerkiem. Mieszkanie wygodne, a kawa na balkonie z fajnym widokiem była wspaniałym rozpoczęciem dnia. Bardzo miły kontakt z wlaścicielem. Polecam!
