Artsy Cabin on Organic Farm

Very Hawai’i! Comfortable bed, plenty of privacy, full kitchen available. We loved it. We didn’t use the outdoor shower because it was pouring rain and we stayed only one night. Carolina was very accommodating and a great host.

We were fine with it, but the local birds are loud at night, and the roosters will wake you early. It’s an off-grid experience, so might not be a good fit for people who don’t like the outdoors.

Carolina, the host, is a delightful human. We felt like we were visiting a family member! This lodging is very unique and a fun experience. A very comfortable bed, friendly pets, and very safe. Shower is outdoors, toilet is in its own little room outdoors. A great experience for us!

Desde el primer momento, Carolina te acoge con una gran sonrisa y te abre las puertas de su hogar, compartiendo contigo su forma de vida profundamente conectada con la naturaleza. Es un lugar donde se respira paz, respeto por el entorno y armonía con lo esencial. Poder ver en primera persona cómo vive, cómo cultiva, cocina y se relaciona con el entorno es algo realmente inspirador. Una experiencia que va mucho más allá del alojamiento.

Todo nos encantó. Quedarse con Carolina es recomendable para quien quiera vivir una experiencia diferente a un alojamiento estándar.

Carolina takes great care of her farm and her guests, too! The property and the amenities are swell; the bed was cozy, the cabin had privacy, towels were provided, and Carolina was full of insider tips on the best beaches and eateries in the area. Sweet Luna- the doggie- would often greet us in the morning, and the cats would visit at night. The goats and chickens are all able to stay safe around moving vehicles, provided you drive mindfully. The garden is flourishing. The outdoor shower was warm and perfectly adequate, and the air was fresh and clean. This is a swell place to stay if you embrace the outdoors. Much more comfort than a hotel.

I didn't mind this, but take care booking if you are a sensitive sleeper! You will fall asleep to the singing of coqui frogs, and I was more often woken by the roosters. On the other hand, my boyfriend would sleep though every night, so know yourself. Note that earplugs are generously provided- I chose not to use them by personal preference, but I'm sure they'd work for you.

I really enjoyed my stay, the breakfast was excellent and Carolina was very kind.

Carolina was the best possible host, and her property was so unique and special. Luna, the cat brothers, and goats and chickens were all fun to have around as well. Between the very comfortable bed, wifi, private facilities, and Carolina's garden and insights, I couldn't have asked for a more interesting and relaxing place to stay. She even provided me some homemade goods when I arrived from an extra long travel day!

I loved everything! It is worth noting that you are definitely outdoors and in nature - if you are not ready for the sounds of nature (especially the geckos and rooster), this may not be the place for you. But if you love being outside in nature, this is the place for you.

Loved the stars. They were so clear and crisp. This is a fun rustic place with frogs, chickens and dogs lulling you to sleep. Great location at the lowest point in the U.S. for an early wake up to see the sun rise.

Make sure you have mosquito spray on before you exit the car.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Bequemes Bett und super leckeres Frühstück aus eigener Herstellung, das man dazu wählen kann. Bad und Waschbecken im Freien, Kochmögllichkeiten. Sehr idyllisch mit Hund, Katzen Hühner und Ziegen. Hat uns gut gefallen und würden gerne wieder kommen.
