"Nice spot for a family stay, especially if going to an event at nearby Castle Leslie."

Wonderful location near Castle Leslie, where we were to go to a wedding reception. The owners were local and very helpful. When we had trouble figuring out the European shower controls, the hosts drove right over to demonstrate. Very welcoming.

This property was outstanding! It is an absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful, warm and cosy house in a fabulous location. Host was so, so easy to deal with and went above and beyond for our stay. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything in the house was excellent. Decor, comfort, facilities etc.

The bedding material..... synthetic quilts, are not very comfortable... too warm. Perhaps a natural duck down or similar would be better.b

We booked this house last minute after a family bereavement and we were thrilled. The house was bright, spacious and spotless clean. Vanessa, the host, was so kind and attentive towards us. She made a VERY difficult time for us a little bit nicer. We loved it so much that we have booked again for another 3 nights next weekend.
