Regina was a star, she faced the obstacles of no food supplies but managed to feed us very well. She did extremely well in all areas of customer service, a lovely person who can look forward to a career in hospitality.

Awwww the breakfast was so delicious and the location was perfect for me I really wish to visit there again.

I like everything about the guest house especially the environment ,food and lovely staff.

The only thing that was OK was the building itself, where there were a couple of apartments with a living room, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with a dining area, as well as a bathroom. The rooms were OK but the kitchen was unnecessarily large. The bathroom could have been a little bigger than it was, there was space for it so you could have a shower cabin and not have to squeeze between the sink and the toilet and shower only on the floor when everything got wet. Bed was acceptable, I would prefer harder one, but OK. Quiet was there too.

The rest was just bad. If you don't know the area, you'll never find it, not even your guide if you have one. Directions were given but impossible to find without help. Upon arrival you were supposed to pay directly for a deposit of 2000 dalasi, why? You had to pay everything in advance anyway. And more than booking.com confirmed, you have to pay more than 5% commission even though it shouldn't be included in the price. It's the hotel that will deduct it from its own revenue. I was supposed of booking.com to pay a total of 43.41 in EUR but had to pay 46.88EUR. Breakfast was included in the price but first waitress came with only omelet so I asked to have bread and butter and maybe some jam or so. I ordered 2x dinner and 1 lunch and I had to pay a total of 18EUR - still, no salad, no vegetables or anything. Plus the owner suggested African stew but when it came time the waitress was surprised by it and I had to choose between chicken or spaghetti but no stew. Spaghetti carbonara she said but I wonder if eggs and cheese were there, although it tasted good, but 6 EUR was a bit too much for that. Also, keep in mind that the charger socket is not European, so it was very difficult to plug in. Earlier I stayed many times in different hotel in Gambia and never it was problem with that, but here it was.

Just what I needed, a great place to stay. The lady (apologise I forget her name) taking care of the guest house couldn't be more helpful. She helped me with everything which including cooking food and room service.Nothing was to much trouble for her. A beautiful person.
