Night Market Heart Hotel MC

Can only recomend this place to stay in Moc Chau. Everything was really good from simple yet comfortable room to nice, friendly english speaking owner Dung especially. He was really helpful at directing to various places there, including drive to amazing waterfall, renting a bicycle and booking the bus ticket, which was really handy in this very local area where theres not much of foreign tourism..

Once I had orientated my position min the centre of moc chau city and to the simple hotel hung was helpful in taking me to ten waterfalls and the glass bridges which were quiet in the week but very interesting and well conceived and presented tourist mountain features. Hung went out of his way for me to even drive all the way to yen bai railway station for my onward train travel to sapa. We got on well and had a great time listening to music and taking the ferry together . Mocha hill also lovely and I picked strawberries.

Clean and central.

Every little noise from the corridor and other rooms comes into the room. In the corridor smoking is allowed, so all the cigarette smell comes in through too.

We could check in at 11.30 am which was very nice. Got welcome tea Owner speaks English Room on the highest floor has a nice view but It's very small. Close to the night market

Extremely noisy!! Screaming Kids, running in the hallway, moving furniture around, slamming doors and yelling parents for 3 hours until 22.30 pm and starting again from 06.30 am in the morning. Because of the construction of the hotel you can hear everything in your room. There are only tiles in the hall and our room was bordering the hall so very noisy (especially in the night from saturday-sunday). The second night we stayed was a bit better. There is a dog on the property that is usually locked up with a chain. The moment when it wasn't it barked at us and followed us onto the road and tried to bite in my trousers. That felt uncomfortable being a guest from the hotel. Motorbike rental is 200k which is more than we paid in other places in north vietnam (120 or 150k) When we checked in, there were used q tips and a ball of hair in our garbagebin. Bathroom stays wet for a very long time because there is no ventilation system and there is no handle to open the window

Highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay at Night Market Heart Hotel. It served a good base to explore the region on motorbike. It's very central to town, lots of resturants in walking distance. Dung is a great host, he was very helpful with suggestions of where to visit and organised motorbike hire and travel transfers for us. We also stayed at his families homestay in a village 50 mins further up in the mountains which we highly recommend.

The host is super nice and can speak english quite well

A fridge in the room would make it perfect! I personally don't like a lot wet bathrooms, with the shower not separated from the rest, but here in Vietnam it is quite the standard and it is ok
