Spacious Villa in Palmela with Private Pool and Garden

The property has so much potential, it’s on a huge plot of land and has fantastic facilities that were clearly put in when the property first opened but unfortunately the upkeep of these has been non existent and so you can’t use most of the facilities on offer.

Do not stay here, the property is run by a scam artist Susana who doesn’t live nearby and has left the property to be managed by her two teenage children and elderly grandfather. The property has not been maintained and we only stayed 1/3 nights because the must, damp and black mould all through the property was a danger to our health. We were so excited for a wonderful girls trip and had planned to use all the facilities but the hot tub can’t be used, the volleyball court isn’t usable and the games room is very dilapidated due to a leaking room and no upkeep. But the biggest problem is the mould and damp, there was mould on a chopping board, child’s high chair, all over the walls, windows, pictures and lamps. Some of the toilets didn’t flush, door handles were broken and holes punched in walls / doors. No effort has been made to maintain the property and when we notified the host that we wouldn’t be staying because the bedding was wet from damp, she told me I was a liar, and has refused to give us any refunds. We also paid the host for airport transfers that we only got one of, and she’s not returned that money either. We had an elderly woman and pregnant woman in our group and these health concerns are serious. The property has so much potential it’s very sad that no care has been taken to look after it and the host being quick to defend, deflect and deny was astonishing. We had to spend lots of additional money on a new accommodation and transfers and reorganise our plans to accommodate staying in a hotel. Really disappointing.

Large clean spacious grounds with plenty of entertainment. Highly recommend for families. Two swimming pools and a jacuzzi is a big bonus. Large seating BBQ area with outdoor fridge and freezer. Local shop is about a 15 minute walk and has everything needed. We also enjoyed the friendly owners who answered any questions we had and advised us on local activities and places to visit in the local area.

Rising damp in some areas. The games room roof leaked in various places in the heavy rain. Front door lock complicated to open and close. Not clear instructions from the start where to throw the rubbish. Confusion about payment with the owner, as it was all pre paid.

Absolutely great place for weekend with family and friends. Nice location, fantastic BBQ and pool zones. A lot of places to have a great time with children as well.
