Tranquility and beautiful surrounding. Food was the best Sebas and fish antipasti I have had. Wine was generously poured. And the lemon sorbet was incredible. Coffee machine is awesome and free but No Decaffeinated coffee or tea. Has AC in rooms, And a nice pool. Staff very helpful and speak little English but Google Translate sorted it out. 😉.

The room was a little dark and had one light buld on the wall and small window in the door. No WiFi in the room. No hot water available. No Decaffeinated coffee.

Beautiful apartment, extremely clean, well equipped and convenient location. Excellent communication with the host and his sister who welcomed us and provided a gift of local specialities, milk and juice in the fridge, soap and shower gel etc. Coffee machine so you can have a proper espresso when you wake up! Oven, microwave, and hobs; we only used the microwave. This is a little house located at the end of a driveway surrounded by gardens so you have your own peace and quiet. Good location for walking to the beach or the little shop (when it is open). On-street parking for our hire car, and we always found somewhere to park very close by. Lovely balcony that looks over gardens and tall trees to the left and over the shipbuilding yard to the sea and the castle to the right. Downstairs terrace area with double sofa provided an alternative space to sit which was used. Washing line outside allowed us to dry clothes after going in the sea. Comfortable beds and a large wardrobe to store clothes in. Blinds on all windows kept the rooms cool when we wanted them cool and allowed the sun to warm them when up.

Not much. The water pressure for the shower was low in the afternoon / evening but perfectly good in the morning. Being located close to a working harbour we were surprised by a loud foghorn at 6.15am on a Monday morning repeated continually for a full 40 minutes as a ship was brought into the harbour. This was background noise and added to the atmosphere of the location so wasn’t unpleasant but was an early wake-up call! And once it was in, the noise stopped and we went back to sleep. ALSO *Worth noting* that you will have to pay city taxes of €2.50 per person per night direct to the owner. Booking.com don’t mention this clearly until after you have paid the amount that they quote and until after they have received your booking.
