Riad-Boutique Borj Dhab Fez

The riad has a beautiful atmosphere and authentic Moroccan charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Fez. The room was comfortable and the overall stay felt relaxing.

Authentic Riad experience with warm greeting and lovely host. Very close to great eateries and the Medina.

Very dim lighting in the room and lack of practical placed power points.

Khalid, Nour, Samih and Salah were amazing people. They are so helpful, kind, easy to communicate. I recommend this place.

Die Lage war gut. Nah zur Medina. Der Platz Bab Rcif ist ganz in der Nähe, um von dort zu den Taxis zu gelangen. Wenn man mit einem eigenen Auto anreist, unbedingt bei Bab Jid parken für ca 4€ pro Tag und sicher. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Einer der Mitarbeiter gab uns eine Stadtkarte und erklärte uns ein wenig die Stadt. Er warnte zudem vor Leuten, die einen auf der Straße ansprechen und Hilfe anbieten. Unbedingt diese Leute ignorieren. Sie zwingen einen anschließend für die gebotene Leistung zu bezahlen. Wir wollten zum naheliegenden Yahya Restaurant. Als wir von dem Riad aus dort hinlaufen wollten, fing uns einer Jugendlicher ab und wollte uns zum Restaurant führen. Er sagte auch, dass er dafür kein Geld verlangen würde. Also schlossen wir uns ihm an. Als wir vor einem Schild standen, wo drauf stand: „links Richtung Restaurant Yahya“ sagten wir dem jungen Mann, dass wir doch nach links müssten. Er sagte daraufhin mehrmals „nein, nein das ist nur deren Hotel. Das Restaurant davon befindet sich rechts, hier entlang!“ So landeten wir ihm 2,6 Sterne bewerteten Dar Lahlimi Restaurant.. Nachdem der Jugendliche dann gegangen ist, sind wir wieder raus von dort und ins richtige Restaurant.

Die Kissen waren nicht sehr gemütlich. Der Lärmpegel ist schon ein Störfaktor von draußen. Man hört die Menschen am Haus vorbeilaufen, lachen, spielen, Videos am Handy schauen, Katzen etc..

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and respectful. They welcomed us with mint tea and were given a local map with all the places to cover. They even helped us keep our luggage even after check out. Also allowed us to stay in the lounge until our flight. Highly recommended and will visit again.
