Beechnut Lodge with Hot Tub

Great location very private clean comfortable and relaxing.

The only slight criticism is there are no delivery options if you are looking for a takeaway. Also when the member of staff came around to check the hot tub he never said hello or what he was doing.

The bed is so hard I couldnt get a good nights sleep, kept waking up during the night with painful pressure points

The position of the lodge-it looks onto very tall trees which are close to the balcony where the hot tub is. It felt dark and gloomy. All of the decking needs cleaning as it is green with the trees. Other lodges on the sight had nice open views. If I had known all lodges didn't have views I wouldn't have booked it.

Located in a great place as a travel hub for visiting the local area and attractions Responsive staff who quickly replied to enquires about local shopping etc Onsite maintenance guy Craig was very helpful with quickly fixing up the hot tub when the pump was not working Good laundry facilities

There was very little bench space or storage in the kitchen No room for storage of luggage The view from the balcony was very obscured by vegetation and trees

Incredibly comfy and ideal for a weekend break away from the noise of daily life. It was clean on arrival, it felt secluded even though we had neighbours.

Blackout blinds or curtains would benefit the bedroom, especially with the early morning sun.

The lodge was very comfortable and had everything you'd need for self catering. The bed was incredibly comfortable and lovely views of the forest from the hot tub. We arrived very late but the property was very accommodating and check-in was stress free.

I felt the lodge was quite expensive, and for that price I wouldn't be expecting to have to strip the bed and take my own rubbish out!
