The location wss good but not directly on the beach.

Our stay would have been okay but unfortanutely from the very beginning there was poor communication with the host, Victoria Rental. They ignored our message regarding our very late arrival and we were in the dark if we woul be able to enter the apartment. Fornatuly this wasn't an issue, as the hotel had 24/7 front desk personnel. During the stay our concerns were ignored for 3 days by Victoria Rental. This was around New Year, so I guess they were celebrating it... The TV didn't work for the entire stay. The repair guy came the last day. The bed was too soft causing back pain. Asked the host about mattress topper to improve this situation. No response. The room was nice and clean but smaller than in the pictures. The bathroom was nice. The balcony lock was within a small child's reach and my dayghter was concerned about his safety. The elevator was busy. Had to carry suitecases down from 11th floor ourselves. Also, the pool deck was dangerous for our 3 year old as it didn't have any barrier for the canal except a rope. A small child could easily fall down in the canal...This is a hotel issue, not our host's. Overall the stay was okay but could have been better with proper communication from the host. The hotel itaelf is fine except the issues mentioned above. 15 minutes from the beach by foot. We didn't use the shuttle and beach chairs.
