Stone Wood Hotel, Rishikesh

The room which was allocated to us the geyser was not working so first day all us had to batch with cold water. They said they will change the geyser or get it repaired nothing happened rest 2 days we had to ask for hot water in bucket. Also after them to clean the room they did not clean the room also. Food was good and so was the breakfast

Nothing to be liked except the F&b manager who was courteous enough to ask for everything

Location is bad, not at all advisable for families or for travelling after dark. If there was an option to give a negative rating, it should be given and booking.com should think about advising such shady property to families with kids.

The location is superb. Very comfortable rooms.

The access to the hotel is a little difficult, especially in the rains.

Nothing, i wish i would have get my money back had such a bad experience. Its ruined my friends birthday.

1. Room were dirty, Asked them to clean room twice 2. Lift shopped working when we were in the lift the staff took 30 mins to get us out. 3. Washroom doors were not getting closed 4. Breakfast area was so disgusting so dirty can’t even explain in words. 5. I ordered food in the night, chicken was uncooked and its affected my health in the night. 6. Intercom was not working in the room, we have to call from mobile phone again and again and they pick the calls as per their convenience. 7. On breakfast they were not serving properly. Staff avoid the guest. What kind of hospitality it was i am amazed to see. If you really want to enjoy your stay please avoid staying at this hotel. Its so pathetic. I have been into stone wood 2 properties before one in goa and 1 in udaipur there were so good. And rishikesh stone wood property is really bad..

Nice location a little walk uphill with good cafes around. Small but good complimentary breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not well trained.

The bright design of the room on the pictures does not exist. All rooms have dark furniture. The floor and the furniture was dusty, although I asked for a cleaning. The bathroom was very smelly. I was offered another room, but it was the same. I asked to check out, but they refused.

Good location near nature. Good service. Staff very polite and cooperative.
