GBSo when I found this on B.Com it looked just the place for me. And it turns out it surely was , If you need a place to chill and meditate then this is it , they have yoga classes, massage, and lots more. It's a ten minute walk to the beach, and lots of good places to eat, or you can do your own food in the kitchen. I would recommend that you bring a head torch, as after sunset there is a short walk in the jungle 🤣🤣🤣

INGBAt first we were a little daunted by the location, as it is a little isolated and hard to find. But after a day we really appreciated being in a jungle location with all the accompanying wild life sounds and the beautiful trees and foliage all around us. Pooja, the host, was so attentive to our needs and helped us with everything, including taking us to a doctor after I had an accident. There were yoga sessions every morning in a lovely studio attached to the property and we were able to begin each day in this way if we chose to.
After I hurt my back and couldn’t walk far we had to get tuk-tuks to and from Gurukul. This was difficult because many of them didn’t know the way or wouldn’t take the shortest route which involved crossing a field.

INWe initially booked our stay at Gurukul for just 2 days but ended up extending it to 14 days because we felt so at home. Pooja ji is an exceptional host who ensures that every guest feels welcomed and comfortable. The entire atmosphere of the place is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by trees and nature, creating a serene environment perfect for relaxation. One of the highlights is the well-maintained Shiva temple on the property, where you can meditate and enjoy moments of silence. The use of the kitchen adds to the homely feeling, allowing you to cook and make the most of your stay. Patnem Beach is also conveniently close, making it an ideal location for beach lovers. Overall, this was one of the best experiences we've had in South Goa. A big thanks to Pooja ji for making our stay so memorable! We highly recommend Gurukul to anyone looking for peace, nature, Yoga, and a genuine connection with the space.
