Vibrant 1st Floor Apartment

NOTHING WHAT SO EVER !!!!!!!!

We arrived at this property on Friday night 11th April and were unable to gain access. I tried phoning the number provided and rang 5 times with no answer, I even left a voice message. I then messaged and again no reply. We had been dropped off by a taxi at around 8.30pm and realised we were stranded with nowhere to stay in a strange town ( we had flown in from Ireland). We then had to try and find somewhere to stay and were lucky enough to book a hotel costing us £430 in top of what we had already paid for the apartment - £202.50 which we shouldn't of had to pay. At 8am the next morning the owner of this property messaged back to say this booking had been cancelled weeks ago. I certainly did not book this property and I never received and email or message informing me that it had been cancelled by the owner or booking.com. The booking was still showing on my app as "confirmed". I am so disappointed in this experience that could of left us on the streets of a strange town if hadn't of been able to secure another booking in the town. I feel we have been scammed by the owners of this property and disgusted at our treatment of them.

Great location to the town, very comfortable beds. Host was very accommodating.
